Our story has been a long time in the making. After working for many years for highly regarded wineries across Australia, we reached a point where we had acquired a vast array of skills and experience between us and we were ready to ‘do our own thing' and to start making our own wines under our own wine brand. In 2003, we found just the perfect property to plant a vineyard in the Whicher Range at Chapman Hill and in 2008, we released our first wines under the Whicher Ridge brand. In 2014, we received our first 5 star winery rating and Whicher Ridge was named as one of the Ten Dark Horse Wineries in the 2015 Halliday Australian Wine Companion, which was a rewarding accolade after the many years of hard work spent establishing our vineyard, winery and cellar door. Since then, we have been awarded 5 star winery ratings by Halliday again in 2015, 2017 and 2018. In 2018 and 2019, Whicher Ridge has been rated as one of Australia's top 300 wineries by The Real Review.
