I'm a photographer, a paediatric nurse and a mum of two wonderful boys. As a parent, and having spent more than 20 years working in paediatric and neonatal intensive care units, I appreciate how just how fleeting childhood is. Our children change in the blink of an eye and it's my job as a photographer to capture those moments and document those details that are forever changing. As well as creating beautiful photographic memories, part of my goal is to also give you a much-needed break. Like you, I have had many (MANY...) sleepless nights during those newborn and toddler years and I understand the intense fatigue involved. From the moment you walk into the studio I want you to feel cared for in the way you care for others. From healthy refreshments to calming music and using paediatric-approved aromatherapy oils; this is your time to relax (you can even have a nap if you like!). My hope is that both you and your child will leave my studio feeling happy, calm and cared for. This chapter in any family's life is so brief, yet the 'busy-ness' of our days can so easily cloud this insight. If I can pause time – even momentarily – to capture your special moments then it would be my privilege and joy to work with you. I am excited to now be accepting cash.
