Growing large juicy passionfruit and making Spanish breads to order. PASSIONFRUIT (REGINA) The passionfruit 'Regina' were developed in north Queensland and they are exceptionally large fruit weighing an average of 250 grams each. When cut they emit a mouth watering fragrance and enhance desserts such as pavlova, cakes, ice cream and/or perfect just straight from the fruit. SPANISH COLONIAL BUNS (PHILIPPINES) Our buns are freshly baked Philippines style inspired by the Spanish Colonial period. They are very popular in the Asian community in Bowen as well as with the tourist sector. We bake these varieties: PANDESAL - sweet and crunchy (the Spaniards wanted French baguettes but could not get them so the pandesal was born) COCONUT BREAD - sweet bread with coconut filling within. GRACIOUSA - soft and sweet. ENSAYMADA - sweet with butter cream on top. STAR BREAD - star shaped with sprinkled sugar on top. All are great with tea or coffee. All buns are freshly made. Minimum orders of four, at $2 each.
