We are a clinical psychology practice providing support and understanding for a wide range of life problems. With over 30 years' experience as a clinical psychologist, I have worked with a wide range of people and their problems using a compassionate approach. The feedback I have had from clients is that people feel safe and comfortable with me and I am able to connect with most types of people from young children through to the elderly. Experience has shown me that many of life's problems stem from relationships; how people relate to each other, how they communicate with each other and how they understand each other. As a clinical psychologist, I have moved from being 'nondirective', to being more prepared to voice an opinion and give suggestions on life and relationships. While this may go somewhat against the grain in psychology, I believe that my life and professional experiences have provided me with insight and understanding on how to work through problems that life presents. My therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Humanism, Neuropsychology and Evolutionary Psychology. Seeing me as a psychologist may not be for everyone but most people come away feeling better and understood, giving them hope and direction.
