Open Water Diver Course
Gain full Open Water PADI certification and dive anywhere for up to 18m without a guide. This certification is required to rent gears, tanks and book scuba excursions.
If a PADI Scuba Diver:
1 day training: Pool in the morning and 2 lake dives in the afternoon and knowledge reviews
Price: $250
If not a PADI Scuba Diver:
2 day training: first day pool in the morning, lake dives in the afternoon; second day lake dives (4 Open Water dives in total) and knowledge reviews

Advanced Open Water Diver Course
Advance your training and knowledge with this 2 day course, 5 adventure dives at the lake.
2 adventure dives are required: Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation.
3 additional adventure dives can be chosen from: Altitude, Fish ID, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Freshwater.
2 day training: 5 adventure dives at the lake and knowledge reviews

Rescue Diver Course
Probably the most rewarding and fun course to take. You will learn everything from self-rescue like cramp release or vertigo to responding to a diver in various situations at the surface and underwater like tired diver or panicked diver and even to an unresponsive diver underwater. You will also learn how to administer oxygen and first aid related to dive injuries.
2 day training at the lake: Self rescue review; 10 rescue exercises; 2 rescue scenarios; preparation of an emergency assistance plan and knowledge reviews

Master Scuba Diver Program
The Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest recreational diver rating with PADI
Meet the requirements to qualify:
- Age minimum 12 years old
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver
- 50 logged dives
- Earned 5 PADI specialty certifications (part of the Master Scuba Diver Program)

Divemaster Course
Your first level as a professional scuba diver, this certification will provide you an entry level to work in the industry
This course will give you the skills you require to work in any dive company. You will learn to supervise diving activities, helping with trainings, giving safety briefings, advance your rescue techniques
Enrolling with Octopus Dive will train you for pool activities for DSD participants, you will also be trained during PADI Seal Team programs with kids pool activities, you will learn to guide tours in either Lake or Reef dives (conditions apply) and how to set up a diving site and organise diving activities.
This is a full week program with classroom study, pool training and assisting the instructor during training, a second weekend might be needed if 60 logged dives hasn't been met
Prerequisite:
Minimum age 18 years
Current dive medical (AS4005.1 or AS2299) stating that you are fit to SCUBA dive signed by a physician within the last 12 months
Certified PADI Rescue diver or hold equivalent certification from another dive training organisation
Completed an Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care course within the last 24 months
Proof you have completed at least 40 dives.
You will need 60 dives at time of certification, which will be completed during your training
Blue card holder is a prerequisite for Octopus Dive students
