Why choose Miss Camellia Tea?

The chinese word for tea is 'cha' 茶 which is a culminated from the characters 草 pronounced căo meaning 'grass,' 人 pronounced 'rén' meaning 'people,' and 木 pronounced 'mu' meaning 'tree' or more literally, 'wood.' .Rare, artisinal teas, teawares & tea ceremonies. This is the reality of the tea we receive. The soil provides nourishment for the tree but it would not be possible for us to receive it's wonderful benefits without the people, 人 'rén' providing care, agriculture and a long-lineage of knowledge through Asian culture. . If you can please take some time to reflect on this.... We are having the conversation around Asian hate at the moment because we are changing the way we all want the world to be in the future. We want a world with more respect for people and for nature. . For now we can take a moment to respect Asian-identifying people, immigrants, and those abroad like you respect the tea. . I feel in respect for tea, for nature, for receiving, there can so be a great respect for people. . The issue facing Asian communities now goes far beyond the issues arising out of covid. There is a deeply engrained shaming and ignorance in the west of Asian culture. . One way forward will be to recognize a fact of human psychology: Our abuse of nature is linked to the equally pressing concern of our age, social disintegration as a result of war, racism, and inequality. All are manifestations of a basic human drive to distinguish ingroups from outgroups. In this connection lies the key to deactivating the effects of both. . For those of us who enjoy tea, please honour your tea, be mindful in your practice, think about the hands that picked these leaves, imagine them abroad and the culture that has gone into the world's most consumed beverage. . This is truly a remarkable gift. . So for this I say, honour the people as you honour the tea. As you honour your food, as you honour everything provided for you. We can begin to be the change we see in the world which reverberates to our actions, spreading awareness by example to respect our Asian brothers and sisters.
