Born in Tasmania and now based in Melbourne, Joshua grew up watching his father play in local blues bands before taking the guitar up and penning songs inspired by the likes of Neil Young, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen. This is the story of a man and his guitar travelling through space and time in search of the songs and sounds that speak the deepest truths. Joshua offers hours of material from an ever expanding repertoire of original songs, as well as the shrewdly chosen humble cover here and there. He has played countless shows in dozens of bands as a lead guitarist, and busked the streets of Melbourne and beyond for over a decade. His debut album, “Bamboo” is set to be released in 2019 under his own independent label, Black Rabbit Studios.
