Iridium Electrical is owned and operated by Damian and Rebecca Ferris. Damian started as a school based apprenticeship and completed his trade qualification in 2003. During his time as an apprentice, Damian worked for a small domestic electrical contractor, an abattoir and finally for an emergency lighting and fire company. Since competing his apprenticeship, Damian has worked across a broad range of areas in the electrical field. Prior to starting Iridium Electrical, Damian worked for small to medium residential and commercial contractors. Immediately prior to starting Iridium Electrical, Damian worked for some 4 years with Advance Electrical. Since starting Iridium Electrical in 2008, the business has engaged in various domestic, commercial and industrial work. Damian has also got his qualifications to install data, reverse cycle air conditioners and as an AMI (Accredited Meter Installer). Damian enjoys the challenge of fault finding, whether it be in a small residential installation or a complicated commercial or industrial installation. Being in the construction industry for a number of years, Iridium Electrical has built excellent working relationships with a number of other trades and also subcontractors in the electrical industry to ensure the highest quality work is provided at all times. Rebecca has a bookkeeping and general office background. Rebecca utilises these skills to assist with the business management and day to day op.
