Growing up in Rajasthan, a pivotal region for artisan India, I gravitated towards arts, crafts, and anything creative. At a young age, my Amma (“Ma” for short) taught me authentic Rajasthani cooking as well as other dishes from India's diverse palate. I also taught myself to draw with mehndi (Henna) firstly on myself, Amma, my sisters, and friends.
