I teach the Punjab Bhangra. Bhangra is a vibrant dance that's an integral part of the Punjab culture. It's performed with dhol drums, boliyan and lyrical couplets and is typically seen during the harvest season and other festive occasions. The harvest festival, Baisakhi, sees many villages fired up in the spirit of Bhangra. It is often used to describe many different folk dances: bhangra, giddha, jhummer and more.
