I'm Georgie Orchard, I am a small business coach and certified Neuro Linguistic Progamming (NLP) practitioner. I guide people in small business from being clueless about numbers to be financially literate to using simple systems to know the numbers to drive their business, set up effective workflow systems that work, hire the right people and ultimately create efficiencies and generate better cash control. Many people get ripped off in business by being too trusting with their money, not having the right controls in place and not knowing what is happening on the finance side. I have been in business for over 30 years, previous to that I was an accountant and Business Analyst with many of Australia ASX 100 companies including Coca Cola Australia, Patrick Stevedores and St George bank, Ruralco Ltd as well as Oracle Asia Pacific. In between 2012 to 2017 I managed sporting clubs on the lower north shore and computerised the systems and increased membership of the club - one club increasing from 11 to 16 teams in the local competition and the other from 4 to 10 teams. In 2018, I was diagnosed with primary breast cancer and primary lung cancer. My model of the world changed and the number one priority and focus for me was health and family and getting the right resources to be well. Health needs to be part of your business strategy.
