As a very young child I was an avid creator. Always thinking up fantastical ideas and doing what I could with what I had to see it come to life. Making something from nothing is a joy and a skill I now foster in my own young son. Over the years I have painted, exhibited and sold work in a number of countries across the world. Immersing myself in other countries' cultures was a true eye opener and inspiration too. The common themes throughout my years have been art and craft by way of brush or needle. I've painted for as long as I can remember and am at such ease with acrylic on canvas. It's second nature to me now. Sewing came a little while later in my early teens, firstly making clothing for myself. No patterns, just making it up as I went. For my 16 birthday I was given a Janome MyStyle sewing machine. It has served me well and 28 years later it's still going strong. Currently, I have a new and improved Janome sewing machine which I use most often these days plus a couple of overlockers and a Babylock coverstitch machine to perfect the finish of some of the items you'll see listed.
 Creating and making are part of my core. You're support and encouragement keeps this passion alive and allows me to do what I love while being at home with whom I love (my young son) on a daily basis.   Warm regards, Cristy Alexandra
