Bibbaringa Farm Stay - a Shearers Quarters experience on a Beef cattle farm - Bibbaringa is a 2500 acre working beef cattle farm situated 30 mins from Albury on the South West slopes of New South Wales. This beautiful property is idyllic for time out, family reunions, romance and/or exploring and walking the property and district. It is also a perfect inspirational setting for artists, writers and photographers. We welcome singles, couples, small groups and families. You will be staying on a working Ecological beef cattle property and so will get to enjoy the highlights of a rural experience. There is something special about breathing fresh air and waking up to the sound of birds and cattle in the distance. You will see an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos wombats, echidnas & bird life… and the sunrises and sunsets are magnificent! You will also get to enjoy stunning panormaic views of Lake Hume, Table Top mountain, Wormargama National park & the surrounding districts. Bibbaringa is a unique property with over 60,000 trees planted since 2007. The shearers' quarters still hold the atmosphere of the once busy accommodation for shearers. The property is a working beef cattle farm and I love to share my passion for land management with visitors. Your 'home away from home' is the renovated 4 bedroom shearer's quarters which comfortably sleeps 8 people in the following configuration: * 1 double room * 3 x twin rooms. * 2 bathrooms (one internal and one external), * large kitchen with microwave oven, large fridge and electric stove and oven. * living room with TV & video. * laundry ( external). * long verandah. (nb. 3 of the bedrooms lead onto the verandah like traditional shearer's quarters and the main bedroom is connected to the internal bathroom as is the lounge room). Please note that Wifi is not always available. Some mobile telephone services do not work in this region. Most Telstra services work.
