Micro herbs are supplied still growing for maximum freshness in either pots or punnets. They are grown in either a soilless potting medium or a sterilized pine wood clip medium for export purposes to help reduce product weight for air freight. The pine punnets are placed in a 110mm tall clear punnet and then sealed with a breathable seal. Pots are supplied in clear sleeves. Pots are packaged in units of 12 or 24, while punnets are packed in 15 per cartoon. Cartoons can be single variety or mixed to the customers requirement. Forty different varieties of micro herbs are available with major lines like sweet basil, Thai basil, red basil, Greek (holy) basil, coriander, chard, red garnet, parsleys, Mache, chives, celery, water cress, rocket, red cabbage, lemon balm, chervil just to name a few. Red sorrel is an exciting new variety that has been added recently. B&B Basil supplies both Nationally and Internationally through a network of wholesalers and providore's. At our Bendigo base, chefs from local restaurants come and select their own produce which helps us keep up to date with culinary trends. We have a policy that we will grow what you need if we can source the seed which is done worldwide through a number of seed importers and local seed growers.
