My name is Sherene Rozario, I live in Berwick. I provide Math tuition for high school students. I DO NOT visit anyone's home for tutoring or provide tuition in any public meeting rooms or Public Libraries. Additionally, I DO NOT provide pre-prepared term books for students to work through as each child works at their own pace and progresses accordingly. I am a fully registered Mathematics Teacher with the VIT and have an up to date Working with Children Check. I am also a registered tutor with the Australian Tutoring Association. The tutoring service is a registered business with the Australian Government Business Register, Trading under “Astute Educational Services” . ABN 53 563 356 348. I design my learning program to suit the learning needs and learning styles of my students in order to achieve academic success.I provide the skills to develop understanding and the application of this understanding to learning. I also provide Exams preparation for Selective and Scholarship exams. This includes skills required in the following areas: * Numerical Reasoning * Mathematical Reasoning * Reading Comprehension * Verbal Reasoning * Creative Writing * Persuasive Writing I have a comprehensive knowledge of the VCE Mathematics and High School Mathematics (7 to 12). My tutoring service includes an online component of daily work to enhance skills developed in the calss. The daily component consists of a 10-minute online program of work individually tailored to meet the learning needs of the student. I believe that “mathematics is not a spectator sport” (George Polya), and as such my students are expected to work on learning materials provided. Accurate calculator usage is another important part of mathematics. I do not provide calculators for use in class and I expect my students to bring their own calculators to class.
